WARES is introducing a new Corporate Membership to streamline meeting attendance and scholarship sponsorship. Membership is annual, following the Calendar Year, starting in January 2025. Membership is broken into 3 Tiers

Gold Tier Membership

  • Cost: $1500
  • Includes:
    • Sponsorship of WARES for calendar year (2025)
      • Goes toward Scholarship funds
    • 2 passes to each presentation event
      • (Jan, Mar, May, Nov)
      • Member pricing for additional attendees from sponsoring firm/agency
    • Prominent firm/agency logo in newsletter, sponsorship distributions, and at events
    • Acknowledgement on WARES website
    • Opportunity for Ad/ Project Spotlight space in newsletter
    • Option to host an informational table during pre-presentation social hour (*subject to space availability)

Silver Tier Membership

  • Cost: $1000
  • Includes:
    • Sponsorship of WARES for calendar year (2025)
      • Goes toward Scholarship funds
    • 1 pass to each presentation event
      • (Jan, Mar, May, Nov)
      • Member pricing for additional attendees from sponsoring firm/agency
    • Firm/agency logo featured in newsletter, sponsorship distributions, and at events (w/ Silver sponsors)
    • Acknowledgement on WARES website with Silver sponsors

Bronze Tier Membership

  • Cost: $500
  • Includes:
    • Sponsorship of WARES for calendar year (2025)
      • Goes toward scholarship funds
    • Firm/agency logo featured in newsletter, sponsorship distributions, and at events (w/ Bronze sponsors)
    • Acknowledgement on WARES website with Bronze sponsors

WARES focuses on funding scholarships for students majoring in railway engineering to encourage young people to pursue careers in the railroad and transit fields. Through this membership program, we contribute to various regional Universities. Scholarship information can be viewed here.

The Membership drive begins in August of the calendar year and runs through the end of the year. Ideally, we fund the scholarship before the end of April so the board can award them by the beginning of the fall semester.
